boEveryone seems to have a favorite book, author, blog or podcast, and we’d like to know what these are so we can tell others.

We need your input!

If you think something is worth your time, chances are it’s well worth sharing with other people. Like this, for instance:

I’ve noticed lately a renewed interest in the book Getting Things Done by time-management guru David Allen. (In fact, as of this writing, the book is out of stock on Amazon.)

Allen’s premise is simple: Our productivity is directly proportional to our ability to relax. Only when our minds are clear and our thoughts are organized can we achieve effective productivity and unleash our creative potential.

One of the tips in his book: Apply the “do it,” “delegate it,” “defer it” or “drop it” approach to emptying your inbox. Allen also says that a “calendar should be used not to hold ‘action lists’ but to track the ‘hard landscape’ of things that have to get done on a specific day or at a specific time.”

Let’s keep sharing.

Please take a moment to send us your current (or longtime) favorite books, blogs and podcasts, etc. And we’ll pass along these suggestions worth sharing in upcoming blogs throughout the year.

To kick all this off, we’ll share corsini’s current top 10 “must-read (and listen)” list in next week’s blog. These worthwhile suggestions will come just in time for your summer reading.
