Thank you all for sharing your thoughts last week through our quick survey. The results of this two-question survey are included below.

 I’m happy to report that most of you are optimistic about the economy and positive regarding your progress toward your own business goals.

 Almost 100 of you (about 50%) expressed reserved confidence—but confidence nonetheless—in our country’s economy, and 29 of you are very confident in the way things stand. Only nine respondents (4%) thought otherwise.

Nearly 60 percent of you (118 votes) indicated that you are making good, steady progress toward your business goals. And 28 of you (14%) said you are, in fact, doing much better than six months ago. Some 18% of you feel you are in the same position that you were in this time last year. I think it’s important to note that not a single one of you said you were doing worse. And that (coupled with the overall positive response) is very good news.

 It’s encouraging to see so many of you clearly on track at this point and moving forward with an optimistic attitude.
